Tim Jacobsen
Pastor Tim has been serving at Fjeldberg since July 2023 and is thankful to be part of the community. He deeply values the welcoming, fun, and Christ-centered atmosphere at Fjeldberg. To Tim, pastoral ministry is all about sharing God’s love with others, whether through conversation or service. He believes that God is actively at work in these interactions. Tim is especially passionate about helping people grow in their faith, finding joy in preaching, and leading or joining groups that foster community and a deeper understanding of God’s love.
Outside of his work at Fjeldberg, Tim lives in Ankeny with his wife, Kindra, and their four kids. In his spare time, he loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors. Tim also serves as a commissioner on the Volunteer Iowa Commission, which aims to boost volunteerism across the state, and he actively participates in his children’s school activities.
