Fjeldberg – Devotion for March 13th, 2025
READ (Matthew 7:12)
So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
REFLECT
I was thinking and praying about what this devo should be about and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount popped into my head. The Sermon on the Mount is found in Matthew chapters 5-7. I felt chapter 7 verse 12 calling to me. It seemed so appropriate with all the negative things going on in our country and around the world right now. I feel, as a whole, we are not treating many other people as we would want to be treated ourselves. I feel Jesus is giving us clear direction on how to treat others and we need to do as this verse says. We also need to pray for all to do this. This can be difficult at times, but judging is not our job. Jesus has told us that we are to love all.
PRAY:
Heavenly Father, please help us all treat others as we want to be treated. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
