BIBLE TEXT
Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? “So above all,
constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will
be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that
comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.” – Matthew 6:32-34

REFLECT
It’s easy to forget sometimes just how close God really is. We tend to question how He could
possibly know each of us personally or even care about the tiny details that make up our life.
But because God cares so much about you, He is well aware of your needs. His word promises
to take care of us as we are His beloved children. When we lean into His word and choose to
seek first His kingdom, worrying becomes a thing of the past. It can be hard to remind
ourselves, but God wants us to spend your time and energy on our relationship with Him, not
worrying about needs that He has already promised to take care of.

PRAY
Dear Heavenly Father, too often we allow worry and fears to overtake our hearts and minds,
instead of looking to You and remembering Your never-failing faithfulness. Thank You for
reminding us that God knows all of our needs and will never leave us. Amen
