Fjeldberg – Devotion for April 10th, 2025

READ (Colossians 3:13)

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

REFLECT

There seems to be a lot of conflicts and disagreements in the world today. If we disagree with someone the first thought for most is to not speak to them anymore. If someone has wronged you, or you have a complaint against them, you are called to forgive them, just as Christ has forgiven you. We should be patient and understanding, to endure each other’s weaknesses and failings with kindness and grace, rather than reacting with anger or resentment. We forget that God forgave us and that is what we should do when we disagree with others.

PRAY:  

Dear God, help us to remember that we need to forgive others as God forgives us. Amen.
