Fjeldberg – Devotion for January 16th, 2025
READ (Isaiah 43:1)
Thus says the Lord, “Do not fear, I am with you; I have called you by name, you are mine”.
REFLECT
This past Sunday we celebrated the Baptism of Our Lord. What does Baptism mean to you? To me Baptism symbolizes new life and creates a spiritual bond between the baptized and Our Lord. Some believe in infant Baptisms, and some believe that you should be old enough to understand what Baptism means before you get baptized. Either way, everyone is a child of Godand is bonded with him for life.
PRAY:
Dear God, thank you for giving us a way to be spiritually united with you and helping us to wash away all our sins. In Your name we pray, Amen.
