Fjeldberg – Devotion for August 15, 2024
READ (Joshua 1:9)
The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
REFLECT
I was looking for a passage to use for my devotional and God pointed me
to this verse from Joshua. I read this verse a few times and it was so
comforting to me. How often I can forget that the one and only true God is
always with me. When I stop and think about it a little while, I can
remember many times God was with me, and I didn’t notice at the time. He
stopped me from tripping and falling. He stopped me from getting in a car
wreck, on and on… I am so thankful that God is always with me/us even if
we don’t recognize it at the time.
PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for always watching us and caring
for us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
