READ (Psalm 100:4-5)
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
REFLECT
We all seem to be so busy these days. We feel like we meet ourselves coming and going. We tend to see turmoil and hardships in our lives and all around us and miss all the wonderful and beautiful things that God provides for us every day.
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving” is not just to be relegated to Sundays at church, but something we should do every day. God is with us always; caring for us, loving us, forgiving us when we stumble; and providing for us. Yes, we have much for which to be thankful. Take a moment today and every day to give God thanks and praise!
PRAY: Loving and faithful God, we tend to forget and overlook all the ways to you provide for us. Give us thankful hearts. Help us slow down to see your wonder in the world around us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
